About

AV Programmer and Technician

I am an experienced Audio Visual Programmer/Technician, and all round Tech Nerd. My career history includes working onboard cruise ships as the Head Sound and Light Technician, Production Manager for corporate events, Level 3 Corporate AV support, and Technical Sales Representative in the Solar PV and Battery Storage Industry. As keen problem solver, I am always looking for better ways to do things, and thrive in high pressure situations.

My skills in AV Production include Audio Design and Operation, Lighting Programming and Operation, Vision System Design and Operation, Automation/Show Control Design. I can program AMX, Crestron and QSC Q-Sys Control systems, including Touch Panel UI Design, core room logic and custom device control.

I am also a proficient Developer for both Web and Desktop Applications/Scripts. Working with HTML/CSS, JavaScript/jQuery, MySQL, PHP and Python, I am able to develop solutions for any application.

Work Terms

I am available all week and usually turnaround jobs within a few days (depending on size). I usually expect payment within 7 days. Email is my preferred method of contact, but am happy to chat on Skype if required.
