I am an experienced editor, careful on conveying an artistically and structured footprint to each of my works.
As a certified mechanical engineer, having worked in the Automobile, Mining and Oil Industry, having volunteered for community development projects for NGOs in the Amazon and in the Caribbean, having embarked into a self-discovery voyage of meditation, music composition, sound healing, music research, and finally, last but not least, becoming a father of a lovely girl, I've come to find my place in the world of video making, where ideas, thoughts, emotions, believes and inspiration are bonded together through sound, image and technology, to give us new perspectives of the world in which we live in and the ideas we want to convey to it.
I'm passionate about creativity, about human mind, about bringing and communicating new ideas, structuring new possibilities, touching human hearts and binding minds together through visual and sound narratives.
As co-founder of Nativa Colombia Travel, I´ve directed and developed several short documentaries, showing the rich culture and nature of the native and unknown Colombia. Among them, the short documentary “Thought Weaving”, a film that speaks about the cultures of the people in the "Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta", won 3rd place in the “Festival de Cine de San Bernardo”, and was nominated in the category of short documentary for the film festivals of FESTIVER and FICAMAZONIA.
As Creator of Purple Sound & Image, I have the honor of having among my clients the “Museum for the United Nations”, the Grammy nominated artist “Un Bosque Encantado”, and “VozTerra” a collective of sound artists leaded by Hector Buitrago, founder of the iconic Colombian band “Aterciopelados”, that strive to counteract global warming through sound related actions.
I’m objective driven, structured, creative, committed, empathic and passionate about what I do. Telling stories and seeing live from different angles is my passion.
