I am an experienced writer focused on web development, online applications, and instructional and marketing writing. I understand the importance of creating an intuitive experience for the user, so they can accomplish their goals and easily find and begin working with the information they need.

I’ve worked in the corporate communications/digital media industry for over 15 years and I have 11 years of experience working and communicating with clients and co-workers remotely. I am proficient in the MS Office suite and can use Photoshop, and charting software such as Visio (Win) and ConceptDraw (Mac).

I work directly with programmers to understand the scope of what can be accomplished given the project specifications and budget.

I write web copy in a format that is easy for programmers to use, including any special instructions, interactions, and user experience. I have experience writing long-format copy for marketing web sites, interviewing subject matter experts, and writing proposals and instructions for users.

Throughout my career, I have created a variety of custom administrative tools for clients in the fields of education and health care.

I have a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Journalism from Loyola University.
