As a editor and proofreader, I have honed my skills over the years by working with a diverse range of clients, from students and academics to businesses and authors. My journey began with a passion for the written word, which led me to pursue opportunities that allowed me to fine-tune my expertise in grammar, style, and narrative clarity. Each project I take on is more than just a task, it's an opportunity to elevate and refine content to its fullest potential.

At the heart of my work is a commitment to precision, clarity, and professionalism. I believe in the power of words to communicate effectively, influence decisions, and tell compelling stories. My goal is to ensure that your message shines through, whether I’m proofreading a report for technical accuracy or editing a manuscript for creative flow. I pride myself on providing not only meticulous attention to detail but also constructive feedback that helps you grow as a writer.

One of my most memorable projects involved working with a first-time student author to bring their novel to life. It was incredibly rewarding to help them shape their ideas into a cohesive and polished manuscript, and I still feel a sense of accomplishment when I see the final product in print.

When I’m not immersed in editing, you can find me reading books, whether it’s enjoying a quiet moment with a new book, experimenting with creative writing of my own, or traveling. These hobbies keep my creativity flowing and give me a fresh perspective that I bring back to every project.

Work Terms

Hours of Operation:

Monday to Friday: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM (EST)
Saturday: 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM (EST)
Closed on Sundays and public holidays
Rush projects outside of regular hours may be accommodated upon request, with an additional fee.
Payment Terms:

All services are charged based on the agreed rate per word or per hour, depending on the scope of the project.
A 50% deposit is required upfront for projects over $200. The remaining balance is due upon delivery of the final document.
Payments are accepted via PayPal, bank transfer, or major credit cards.
Full payment for smaller projects (under $200) is due before work begins.
Late payments may incur a 5% fee after 7 days.
Turnaround Time:

Turnaround time depends on the length and complexity of the project.
For documents under 5,000 words: 2-3 business days.
For larger projects: timeline to be discussed and agreed upon prior to starting.
Rush service is available for an additional 10-20% surcharge, depending on urgency.
Preferred Communication:

Virtual meetings can be scheduled via Zoom or Google Meet for detailed project discussions.
Feedback and revisions are discussed through shared project platforms (Google Docs, Microsoft Word Track Changes, etc.).
Revisions:
Up to two rounds of revisions are included with the service.
Additional revisions will be charged at an hourly rate or pre-discussed fee.
Revisions requested after project completion and approval will be treated as new projects and charged accordingly.
Confidentiality:

All client documents are treated with strict confidentiality and are not shared with third parties.
Non-disclosure agreements (NDAs) are available upon request.
