Backend Software Engineer with diverse experience scaling systems from startups to major corporations.
I am an alumnus of the Georgia Institute of Technology with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science. I have over four years of industry experience working for startups, mid-size companies, and major corporations. I started my career at CodeMettle building data and network management tools for the US Army and private entities. I moved on to work for T-Mobile where I designed and developed microservices for managing the ingestion, processing, sale, and shipment of millions of cellular devices. My most recent experience comes from developing the backend of Postscript's FlowBuilder application, which allows Shopify stores to connect with their customers via text messaging. Over my career I've consistently garnered a reputation for being a diligent and detailed-oriented engineer. I have a knack for comprehending complex systems and trade-offs in design. I have above average communication skills and an exceptional ability to translate technical information across domains. I am capable across the backend stack, from the API endpoints to the cloud.
