Giving Your Business a Relatable, Professional Voice in the World
Whether you're looking for a lesson in wading through the swampy waters of PR for your small- to medium-sized company or non-profit organization, an article or press release of the utmost quality, or just want to talk comics, I'd love to hear from you. My experience runs the gamut of writing news copy, running a hectic newsroom, doing extensive PR for a technical college, blog management and content creation, comic and novel writing and publication...and even working a popcorn machine in a movie theater back in college. I'm nothing if not a focused, time-management expert who can help give your next project a down-to-earth yet professional voice.
My hobbies include doing overly realistic superhero voices while playing with my kids, listening to old radio podcasts, and sketching quirky comic book art.
Work Terms
While the occasional project may demand special circumstances, I try to restrict my working schedule to a regular Monday-Friday, 9am - 5pm routine (with the occasional evening or weekend writing session or meeting). I am a dedicated family man and take this role just as seriously as I do any work I put in for a client. That said, I am extremely dedicated to the projects that I undertake and hold true to deadlines. I maintain communication, as well, since I find it is key to upholding client expectations.
The best way to contact me is through email as it offers a chance for both parties to keep track of past conversations for accountability and I check it quite regularly.
Rates are negotiable and often depend on the depth and scope of a project, be it hourly or per assignment. Building positive, respectful relationships is important, so I try to be fair to the client as well as myself when offering pricing. Value is in the eye of the beholder.
