I've been working in Information Security for over 20 years. During that time I've worked for some excellent companies such as British Telecom, Symantec, RSA Security, and Gojek. In consulting roles, I've led projects for some of the world's most targetted organizations including top-tier banks, payments processors, and gaming firms. Since freelancing, I've helped many small businesses establish security programs that enable them to comply with security requirements to sell into industry markets such as the US education market and others.
SMBs and SMEs are often at the disadvantage due to high barriers of security compliance to selling to these markets but that need not be the case. Innovative approaches that are beyond the reach of larger companies can be implemented more easily in small businesses allowing for a lean and agile security program that produces maximum risk reduction per dollar invested in the program. This is my passion.
