Bored of repetitive tasks at work one day, I first discovered VBA for Excel to automate some of my jobs at work. Soon enough, I gained a reputation as being the Excel wiz in the office.
It's been 6 years since then and I've branched out into web development and JavaScript. As I worked in different companies, I noticed that all of the businesses I dealt with lacked key skills in these areas and were wasting time each day on tasks which could easily be replaced by simple scripts. Finding and solving these problems soon became the most enjoyable part of my job. Because of this, I decided to look further afield to see what other companies I can help.
I help most of my clients by streamlining workflows through scripting in GSuite, linking spreadsheets to external APIs and managing documents on Google Drive. I have also designed websites and embeddable webapps to enhance existing pages.
My formal studies are in languages. I studied French, Spanish and German at university and later moved to Japan where I studied the language. My love of language led me to become an English teacher and I gained a MA in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages. With this background, I'm particularly interested in projects related to education and language acquisition.
I'm a British national and native speaker of English. I'm living in South East Asia and the low cost of living allows me to offer competitive prices for high quality services.
