With over 20 years of transcription experience in my background, I've established a solid reputation of being a reliable go-to guy. I believe a fast turnaround time and on-the-nose accuracy are invaluable to providing excellent service to my clients. My main is currently on interview transcription, particularly in the areas of documentary film-making, podcasts, and other multimedia projects.
Work Terms
I am entirely home-based, so my hours are quite flexible. As far as payment is concerned, my normal rate for transcribing documents is $25/hour, but I am open to negotiations. If the payment is on a per project basis, I set my price based on the number of people interviewed (including whether or not to include the interviewer's questions), the length of the job, if the transcript requires time codes, and if the transcript needs to be typed verbatim.
