I love bringing ideas to life by designing and developing apps, websites, games, logos, and brands with a minimalistic style, a principled process, and an engaging excitement.
My career began with an exciting degree in Web & App Design & Development at the Interactive Media department of Bradley University, where I also was a TA for two classes during my junior and senior years. After two internship and a job as a Junior Developer during college, I jumped straight to a Senior Software Engineer position at TSheets.com following graduation. Two years later I moved to a core team position with Intuit where I continue pushing the adoption of industry-standard best practices, workflows, standards, and technologies.
Today, I am striving for meaningful and fulfilling work. I want to find purposeful projects where I can contribute my time and talents toward causes I care about.
Personally, I like to believe that I am widely regarded as a happy human, conversationalist, drummer, developer, designer, wannabe psychologist, imminent philosopher, and stuntman — more or less. I value intentionality, rationality, connection, humor, curiosity, openness, understanding, ambition, vision, creativity, and generativity. Most of all, I love people and ideas — helping people bring their ideas to life.
Work Terms
I love working closely with clients to learn all that I can about their ideas and projects. I'll take time to have good conversations and discuss the work. I document everything to ensure clarity, detail, and explicit expectations. I keep an open, honest, and transparent communication open with all those I work with. I work flexible hours throughout the week, depending on varying needs and timelines. I am easy to get ahold of and talk to on whichever medium you prefer.
