Management consultant, content writer, translator
I am a former management consultant having worked one year at Monitor Group before it was acquired by Deloitte and two years at The Boston Consulting Group (Senior Associate).
I am set to return to full-time consulting on 1 October, but am very keen to fill the spare time with strategy consulting projects or other similar work. I would like to start free-lance work as soon as possible and I am very open minded regarding the kind of work I can do. I am even happy to do menial tasks.
I left consulting to pursue my own internet startup and PhD in Russia. I have experience in tech and Venture Capital, where I oversaw 10 consumer internet startups.
I speak fluent Russian and have won debating competitions in Russian. Over the last few months I have been working on a volunteer project in healthcare in Ukraine. Therefore, I cannot do healthcare projects due to a conflict of interest with the volunteer work I have done. I have experience in a wide range of industries.
I studied Philosophy, Politics and Economics at Oxford and was a Queen's scholar at Westminster school. I got the top mark in every GSCE (mentioned in the UK national press) and A-level exam.
Work Terms
I like a task that I can complete to a very high standard. I prefer to speak over Skype before starting a task (powell.david.john).
