I was born and raised in Southern California and received my bachelor’s degree
in film production from California State University, Northridge in 2004. Once I
graduated, I spent several years working in corporate videos, traveling the
country producing, filming and editing videos for major clients in the airline,
transportation, health & wellness, non-profit and other industries.
In 2006, I started my own film company to produce my first feature documentary, Crash
Artist: Beyond the Red Carpet. Since then, I have built a successful career as a
working editor and producer on many projects.
The latest feature film that I edited, North of the 10, was released on BET+ in
2022. Before that, I edited several feature films and short films, most of which
are available on platforms such as Amazon, DirecTV, Cable or other streaming
services. I’ve won awards at festivals for my films Crash Artist: Beyond the Red
Carpet and Stay In the Car.
My experience as an independent producer/director on my own projects has
given me a unique ability to handle virtually all parts of production and as an editor by trade,
my past directors and producers have relied on me to find artistic ways bring
their stories to life and to council them on efficient post-production workflows as
well.
Ultimately, I love collaborating, solving problems and creating meaningful
subject matter. I would love the opportunity to discuss more details in person if
you are interested.
