Contributed to the build and assumed responsibility as Lead Engineer for all technical functions associated with the production and broadcast of a new ESPN program, “ESPN First Take,” as well as two other programs supported from a remote New York location. Facilitated traditional information technology (IT) functions including Microsoft Active Directory and server and desktop support to end users. Working without supervision, learned – from information in technical manuals and on vendor websites – the ENPS database application used in controlling live television broadcast content including publishing of written and graphical content appearing on viewer screens as well as other production and support technologies utilized on all three programs. Troubleshot problems impacting broadcast and quality of programming, contributing to efforts elevating ESPN First Take to second ranking in viewership among all ESPN programs.
