I'm actively looking for part time, contract work
I have over 20 years of experience in UI/UX (User Interface/User Experience) development. I am an expert in accessible design such as compliance with ADA (American Disability Act) guidelines. Studying HCI (Human Computer Interaction) with a focus on ease of use. Capable of guiding teams and fostering professional growth, enabling a highly productive team atmosphere with focus on trust, respect and clear communication. Strong analytical and collaborative skills allow for decisive navigation of issues.
As an expert in programming HTML5, CSS3 & JavaScript, I work in raw code only (no candy coated wysiwyg here). I've developed public web sites, online training applications, dashboards, internal systems and reference materials using a variety of languages and technologies. Well versed in JavaScript with and without third party libraries such as jQuery and Bootstrap. I’m loving the latest JavaScript MVC frameworks, particularly the MEAN stack. As a veteran of the browser wars of today and years past, I ensure compatibility across major web browsers, desktop and mobile.
I take on each view as an individual design challenge, ensuring that all my applications are aesthetically pleasing and usable. I have experience with traditional graphic design as well; logos / corporate identities and marketing materials.
Work Terms
I'm available for evenings and weekends. I've got all the hardware and software that I need.
