I have a passion for proofreading and editing. I hold a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) where I graduated summa cum laude. I have seven years of experience teaching English, including the art of written composition, to students, and I also worked as an online writing tutor. Moreover, I have dedicated countless hours to editing projects and creating usable content for colleagues, peers, and family. Guru offers me the chance to turn my skilled hobby into another career!

My teaching experience has not only allowed me to continue to hone my skills as a writer and editor, but it has also afforded me a wide range of general and specific knowledge on a variety of topics. As a result, I have become extremely versatile. I am comfortable working on projects that may be of an unfamiliar nature or niche subject matter. Additionally, I am adept at internet research, including evaluating credible sources of information.
