Exceptional French to English Translator, Editor and Proofreader

I have been working as a freelance translator, editor, and proof-reader for the past three years. During this time, I have completed many French to English translation projects, for both private and professional clients. I have undertaken various translation projects in many different domains. I am particularly specialised in the areas of medical, technical, academic, and business translation and translations for the film, television, and documentary industries, but I can adapt my skills to any domain and enjoy undertaking projects in different and varying areas.

I have undertaken the translation of many documents from French into English, including legal, medical, and scientific documents and journal articles, business documents, documents for the film, television, and documentary industries, numerous websites, and personal documents.

Having lived and worked in France for the past thirteen, adoring everything French, I have the French language skills which I can apply to any translation project. I have the knowledge of all the little phrases, sayings and expressions that sometimes get lost in translation, ensuring that all the sense and meaning that the writer intended remains in the text I am translating. I treat every piece of work that I undertake as an original project and ensure that it is appropriate for its intended audience.

I am motivated and enthusiastic for any project which I undertake and am thoroughly professional. I have a passion and intrigue for any project which I am involved in, the same passion and intrigue that I have for life and its many adventures in this beautiful corner of the world! I adore travelling and experiencing and learning about new countries and cultures.

I am based in Europe, between France and the UK, and am generally available to contact by Skype or telephone between 09:00 – 19:00 in these areas.
