I enjoy business and having the ability to impact the success or failure of a company. Finance is a critical component of that and the great thing about FP&A is that it is the only role other than CEO that is involved in the entire landscape of the business. That is why I chose to focus my career over the past 23 years in FP&A, management consulting, project management and organizational leadership roles. My most recent role over the past 9 years in management consulting with a focus in corporate finance, strategic planning, management reporting, business intelligence and private placement finance has given me great insight into the Real Estate, Technology, Energy and Financial Services sectors. Prior to that I’ve held leadership roles in a fortune 100 consumer products corporate finance environment and public start-up providing strategic advice to executives responsible for national markets ranging between $26 million to $1.8 billion in size. I've led the budget and forecast processes including all aspects of top-line sales growth and operational performance, identifying opportunities for financial performance improvement and providing management with clear and concise financial analysis of sales trends, trade agreements, operating expenses and capital expenditures across multiple products and geographies. I’m also a techie with a keen eye for process improvement. I spent three years of my career in a Senior Project Management and Trainer roles focused on large-scale system implementations such as Hyperion Essbase, Oracle and Microsoft Dynamics SL (Solomon). I attended Drexel University where I earned an MBA, Entrepreneurship and earned a BBA, Finance from Howard University. I'm new to Los Angeles, CA and have taken up acting as a hobby for fun!
