My name is Deborah Okeke. I'm a budding writer, meticulous editor and promising graphics designer. I have about two years' worth of professional and volunteer experience freelancing for various websites and editing for organizations and bodies such as Stackpreneur Media Solutions, Agents for Positive Transformation (APT), UItes Write (of the prestigious University of Ibadan), Peace Education and Practice Network (PEPNET), Healinglabs Magazine and more. I am currently the Editor-in-chief at EDITNOW!, an offshoot of Tell! which is an online platform that showcases the writing talents of young Nigerans. My job at EDITNOW! is basically to give more meaning to documents

I have edited various manuscripts which have gone on to be published, some written in the name of Afe Babalola, the renowned scholar. I have also edited the speeches of various important personalities such as the former Presidential Aspirant running under the flag of the MAJA political party -- Professor Funmilayo Davies. Genre is no barrier as I have also proof-read and edited drama's and fictional works.

I am value-driven and very detailed, and I derive utmost pleasure in transforming crude works into polished and professional pieces. I cringe every time I spot grammatical and construction errors in supposed academic materials, supposedly written by elite academicians. I believe editing is second nature to me.
