I am a wife, mother of 5, and grandmother of 8. I was born in Chicago, but reside in central Illinois.
I attended Basic Training and AIT at Fort Jackson, SC in 1992, and completed both. I was a part of the Army Reserves from 1992 to 2000. My specialty that I was trained for in the Army is 71L (Administrative Specialist).
Since late 1993, I have been doing office work in various capacities, whether through a temporary service or as a hired worker. I have done everything from claims coding to bill collection to transcribing insurance claims to typing up court reports for probation officers. I was an Administrative Support Specialist II for McLean County Juvenile Court Services for 3 years, and even completed some research work for the Illinois Attorney General's Office from 1999-2000.
