To obtain freelance work in web design and provide clients with eye-catching, highly-functional work at very fair prices.
I've spent a portion of my life overseas teaching English, but have switched to web design in more recent years. Since 2011, I've been engaged in intensive study of HTML, CSS, responsive design, Javascript, jQuery, Adobe Photoshop and Wordpress. The past year I have coded a few sites as a freelancer and have also built both my personal lit site (featured in my portfolio) and my portfolio, the URL of which I've provided on this website. I feel this portfolio is a good representation of my work and abilities and encourage any prospective client to take a look. I aim to provide clients with well-coded, responsive, pixel-perfect design. I put an emphasis on design as much as functionality, something that does the best job possible of making the subject matter of the site both clear and enticing to a viewer. I think this emphasis which I put on high quality design is very much apparent in the portfolio. Bells and whistles are nice, but I believe that high quality images are even nicer, and just as important as good functionality. Once, again, I think the work in the portfolio really speaks for itself and encourage prospective clients to have a look. Also, having taught English for some years, I am very good at editing any written content on a site.
Work Terms
This is negotiable. I prefer to work for a lump sum, which is presented upfront for work being done in a certain time-frame.
