Denise Bump founded Bump Design in 1995, after eight years of working for various well-respected marketing and advertising firms. Her experience includes strategic planning, concept development, web design, program execution, production management and more.
Today, we spend our time working closely with a broad spectrum of clients to meet their marketing needs with strategic concept development and graphic design. Because Bump Design is not a high-volume production shop, we serve a small number of clients at a very high level. Our goal is to learn everything we can about your business and to be your partner – an extension of your marketing department rather than just another vendor.
We know that when it comes to marketing, one size doesn’t fit all. Our broad spectrum of clients ranges from financial service organizations to medical professionals, from consumer product companies to nonprofit organizations. The goal of all Bump Design professionals is to provide our clients with the service and the finished products they need to help them stand out from their competition and grow their market share. We pay careful attention to the details, anticipate and resolve issues, and take responsibility for each project’s success.
We work with each client differently, depending on who you are and what you need. We can work within the framework of an established marketing plan and develop the graphic design for specific projects, or we can handle your marketing needs from planning through concept development to program execution.

Work Terms
Bump Design will provide estimates for projects based on an hourly rate of $70 per hour. Only the amount of hours used will be billed; if it appears that the production time is going to exceed the estimate, we will notify you immediately for cost approval
before proceeding. In the case of advertising and marketing work that falls beyond the scope of the professional services provided by Bump Design, including copy writing, proof reading, photography will be estimated separately. Prior to the commencement of such work, there will be an agreement, in writing, between the purchasing agent and Bump Design as to the projected cost of that work.
Projects (until completed) will be invoice from Bump Design on the 25th of each month or upon completion of the project (whichever comes first). This invoice will be payable by the 25th day of the following month. Any balances unpaid after 30 days from the 25th of the month previous will incur an additional charge of 1.5 percent.
All completed files that have been paid for will become the property of the business hiring Bump Design. Bump Design will back up the print-ready files and will provide them upon request. After one year there may be a minimal archival fee to retrieve files.
