After college, I began my career with a daily newspaper, writing news and feature articles. Success led me to work in the newsroom of a national news service in Washington, D.C., and I soon took a job working in government. Accuracy, integrity, attention to detail and professionalism were my hallmarks during that service. Now, after more than 20 years in government, I continue to write for the simple joy of it, and thrive on deadline writing and the sense of accomplishment from a job well done.
