For websites I always slice designs manually to offer best image optimization possible. This will ensure that your web page is optimized as much as possible and it will as fast as it is possible. I do valid (X)HTML and CSS coding conforming with the W3C standards and all pages are tested in all major browsers. For server side programming I mainly use php, asp, coldfusion & .NET.
