Passionate web developer and coding mentor
Hello!
I’m Destinee, a passionate web developer and coding mentor with a background in computer science. I'm currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science at SUNY Old Westbury, I have experience in creating engaging, interactive websites and teaching programming to diverse groups, including middle and high school students, as well as adults.
With a solid foundation in languages like HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Python, and Java, I’ve built websites such as semii.neocities.org, semii.space, Fun Facts Page, and Zine Idea Generator. showcasing both my technical expertise and creativity. My technical toolkit includes frameworks and tools like Flask, Tailwind CSS, Astro, and GitHub, which I use to develop responsive, user-friendly applications.
As a coding mentor with organizations such as , Black Girls Code, and Young Africans Technology, I’ve guided students in mastering the basics of programming. Currently, I work as an instructor with Code Whatever, where I host weekly coding events, maintain the organization’s website, and support students with coding questions.

Work Terms
My work hours are flexible, with the only rule being a maximum of 8 hours per day. A discovery call is required before we begin.
