About 4 years ago my best friend hired me as his personal assistant to help with his heavy workload. It started out with small things such as filing, organizing, data-entry, research. That eventually evolved into me becoming the bookkeeper for the company he was involved with, a small start-up trying to get on it's feet. I learned a lot in the two years I was involved with them and through that experience I was able to pick up a couple of other small bookkeeping jobs.
