Working in the realm of health insurance for over five years, I have been molded to accept change and to work quickly to adapt to the unknown. I started working for medicare at a young age and was promoted quickly to working alongside people that had been with the company for twenty plus years. I am bright, I am competitive, and I am thorough. Upon leaving my position with that contractor, I found myself taking a job as a billing coordinator for a local home health agency. I have since helped implement new software, taking over all aspects of billing (a/r, posting payments, status checks, insurance verification, speaking with patients about money owed.. and collecting that money.) I am the office manager now and am solely responsible for claims being sent to insurance companies. While I am enjoying Part A claims, my extensive knowledge of Part B comes in handy everyday.

I am not all insurance. I am creative. I recently began selling my artwork online. It's one thing to paint something.. but then to have to write a compelling, meaningful, and searchable description on the internet is a horse of a different color. I have really had to tap into my creative writing and research the internet to accomplish this. I learn everyday. I am meticulous when it comes to english grammer. I spot errors very quickly. I correct my own and others.

Mediocrity is not in my vocabulary. I strive for excellence in my work environment. I will succeed at any task with a healthy professional attitude, upbeat personality, and a strong desire to be the best at what I do. Thank you for your consideration.

Work Terms

My work schedule is flexible, but most work will be completed after 4:30 central time and on weekends.
