Web Site Maintenance - Controller’s Office (2001 to 2005)
Served as Web Master of Controller’s Office web site. Initially site was over 1000 pages and after I reviewed it, I condensed it down to about 300 pages. I added breadcrumb markings to all pages. I reorganized the image, pdf, and other special content to a single directory. I designed and wrote a new plan for the website which moved it to addressing the needs of user, whether they were a vendor, student, faculty member, or staff member. I set up a plan for updating pages on a regular basis. I created live pages created from database entries.
Executive Administrative Assistant - Graduate School of Business (1997 to 2001)
Served as one of several support personnel providing administrative and clerical help to a team of 6 college professors. Designed and maintained Excel spreadsheets and Access databases. Managed desktop publishing, form creation, conference planning, domestic and international travel arranging, and event catering tasks. In later role, performed Web site updates, changes, and new page development for the Controller’s office.
Key Contributions:
* Recognized as specialist in advanced MS Office applications, entrusted with handling the more difficult word processing, spreadsheet, database, and presentation tasks for the group.
* Developed Web sites to promote graduate school social events using Front Page and straight HTML coding expertise, and utilized the university Web template to create faculty seminar
