I have been in retail since Norma Kamali put shoulder pads into sweatshirts and invented an industry. I know, I was a buyer then.

I was an apparel product designer and trend analyst for the corporate offices of Saks Fifth Avenue, Marshall Fields and Gimbels.

As a buyer for Lord & Taylor, I worked in the corporate headquarters, in New York.
