My diverse work background has made me a Jill of all trades (a female jack of all trades) as it has allowed me to work through different industries (Business Process Outsourcing, Web Design & Development, Business Development, HR & Recruitment, Marketing, Real Estate, Not-for-Profit, Writing, Training and Consulting, to name a few) and gain extensive skills through the different roles and designations I have worked in.
Although some would object that being a Jill (or Jack) of all trades comes with the curse of being a "master of none", I have found that this is not the case in my situation, because my skills and work experience, plus my passion for excellence, has allowed me to become a well-rounded professional who has the flexibility of managing multi-disciplinary projects and fulfilling different roles and responsibilities across the various organizations and teams I have worked with. Having worked in different industries has also become an advantage, because I now have a better understanding of the dynamics of businesses, teams and groups, thereby improving my management skills and, of course, being a team player.
I have definitely worn many hats in my career: Customer Service Representative, Quality Assurance Supervisor, Virtual Assistant, Marketing Manager, Technical Writer, Business Development Specialist and Operations Lead - to name a few. Currently, I find fulfillment in helping professionals and businesses in finding strategic solutions through mutually beneficial relationships and achieving common goals in the Online Outsourcing industry.
