After growing up in the South Bay, Dick attended Rhode Island School of Design (RISD) where he studied animation and film. He then joined a pack of creative types in San Francisco working on the puppet movies, "Nightmare Before Christmas" and "James and the Giant Peach". Years of assorted projects followed - commercials, web series, educational games, and some Emmy award winning motion graphics.
