David Kcenich is a cartoonist, comic strip artist, author, illustrator and a film & television animator. he has over 25 years experience in the animation industry. his film credits include the Walt Disney Animation Studio, Duncan Studio, Dreamworks, Turner Productions, Warner Bros. and other animation studios.
Mr. Kcenich also worked as a Character and Effects animator for many television and commercial projects through the years.
Originally from Plains, a small coal mining town in Pennsylvania, was a Track and Cross-Country Runner at Susquehanna University. Mr. Kcenich moved to New York City to pursue a career in art. He studied Cartooning and animation at the School of Visual Arts. Received the prestigious Robert Eric Farmer Award for Cartooning.
He was mentored by legendary comic book and cartoon artists that included
Will Eisner (The Spirit), Harvey Kurtzman (MAD magazine founder),
Gene Colan (DareDevil) and Charles Burns (Black Hole) to name a few.
As an illustrator, Mr. Kcenich has created artwork, logos and T-shirt designs for
a variety of companies and clients. He wrote, Illustrated and self published 2 books:
The Moose Wears Running Shoes & Has Anyone Seen My Valentine? and Illustrated a Children’s book called: Fred and Fiona Fuzzy Blue Monsters with Finicky Fur
It was publiched in 2016.
Mr. Kcenich works traditionally or digitally in any medium needed for a project. He specializes in Pen & Ink, watercolor and Photoshop.

Work Terms
Hourly rate is $45, I prefer communication via phone, e-mail or FaceTime. I offer up to 3 revisions on a design. Payment is usually half up front once it is agreed on a price. Timeline for the duration of the project should be agreed on as well.
