Lover of all things literary, I am a committed devotee of the written word, literacy, reading, and community access to information and knowledge.

I hold a Master’s of Education from the University of St. Thomas, Houston, in addition to a B.A. of French and a B.A. of English. I am a certified teacher, a public speaker, and an avid reader and writer.

I have been writing in various mediums since elementary school including poetry, short stories, newsletter articles, blogs, press releases, collateral, letters, direct mail, emails, website content, brochures, headlines, subheads and body copy.

I am currently a work-at-home mom for my two daughters and, in my spare time, I read books I find on Goodreads.com and borrow from the library, I create arts and crafts, and I author a blog focused on parenting and poetry - http://writingandredemption.blogspot.com/.
