DogBrain Studios was founded in 1989 by Martin G. Cameron to supply media assets and animation development in his capacity as freelancer working for Lucasfilm Games at Skywalker Ranch. When Martin went in house with Lucasfilm Martin Kept DBS alive as a sideline home for his experimental work in the expanding 3D market. Martin was the first 3D artist at Lucasfilm games and pioneered all of their early work in 3D modeling, animation and video for games. !n 1997 Gordon Garb came onboard as a pruner in DBS, bringing with him his past experience with Early Super Computer for film at Digital Productions in Hollywood.
Along with Martin and Gordon DogBrain Studios works with a wide Range freelance artists (depending on the project at hand). Former Lucasfilm/Totally Games Art Director James McLeod provides a unified vision and asset tracking working hand in hand with In House Producer Pier Richards. Our mobile application unit is overseen by Wade Lady, late of Lucasfilm and Microsoft, and one of the country’s foremost authorities on GPS integration for mobile applications.
