More than two decades in newspaper journalism, nonprofit marketing and graphic design make me a unicorn — I was a newsroom rarity in that I was an artist who could report and shoot, a photographer who could write, design and do news art, and a reporter who could... you get the idea. As a result, I see not just the intricacies of projects but the overall view, how a project looks, feels, reads and is consumed. I tend to drill down to brass tacks quickly, and can home in quickly on the point of a project, letting everything find its place from that point.
Work Terms
I prefer flat fees per project, and they vary depending on the amount and type of work proposed.
