I was a photographer for several years before earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science with a Minor in Anthropology at Colorado State University. I taught English in Japan from 2002 to 2005, and from 2007 to 2021. While living in Japan the first time, I wrote a multiplayer video game, but wanted to create my own graphics, so I spent years learning 3D modeling, animation, rendering, UV mapping, and texturing, and learned how to create and edit vectors. During my brief time back in Colorado, I worked as the Computer Lab Manager at the CSU Intensive English program, where I also redesigned their website, and taught English to private students. I still enjoy photography and photoshopping, and still love programming, especially in PHP, SQL, HTML, and CSS for interactive web design. I make decals and tee-shirts with a vinyl cutter, and design and 3D print various small projects such as toys for my children, and helpful items such as woodworking jigs.
