Hi, I'm Dave Pickard, owner and sole operator of Dave Pickard Graphics.

From childhood I have been making art, a passion that I've carried into adulthood. My undergraduate degree from University of Texas at Arlington is in painting, as is my Master's Degree from New York University. Since finishing school, I have worked mainly in the Publishing industry. My most recent employer was McGraw-Hill Companies School Education Group where I worked successively (and successfully) as a production artist, a production coordinator, an art and photo
coordinator, and as a designer.

I'm currently working as a freelance designer, a publishing consultant, an illustrator, a painter, and a print maker. My approach is to provide direct, individualized attention to my clients and their needs. Whether the project is a simple logo or an entire book, my focus is on ensuring a quality finished project and the best possible value for my client.

Work Terms

SafePay Escrow only. Projects can be divided into milestones with funds placed in escrow for each part of the project.

My regular business hours are 9:00 am to 5:00 pm (EST), Monday thru Friday. Exceptions can be made for differences in time zones or project requirements. Email, Skype, IM, and phone are available methods to communicate with me. Email is generally preferred.
