I am a professional SQL and Business Intelligence developer with over 15 years of experience in the field . I started my career at TekFix in Toronto - Canada as a software developer as soon as I finished Computer Programming and Analysis diploma at Seneca College in Canada. If was there that I was introduced to BI while working on developing their Point of Sale application using VB and SQL.

I moved more towards business intelligence with my next full time position at Cardiac Care Network of Canada ( government agency ) as a BI developer where using complex T-sql , Crystal Reports and SSIS I successfully created the ETL pipeline to the reporting datamart and reporting packages. I left after 3 years to extend my working knowledge and find a more balanced work/life environment.

My next position was once again within a government agency ( TTSA - Technical Standards and Safety Authority of Ontario) as a Data Analyst. It was here that I was introduced to PLSQL and Oracle databases and was part of the core development team for migration and data cleaning. I was involved with TTSA for 1 and 1/2 years during which time I was promoted to team lead and took ownership of migration and ETL projects within the organization. I left TSSA to join Adesa Canada ( part of the international organization KAR ) .

I joined Adesa as a member of their Business Intelligence team and worked remote for a large part of my employment with them. During my 3 years with the organization I was involved in various BI tasks including building ETL using Informatica and reporting and dashboards using Tableau and Cognos.

I have currently relocated to Thailand and offering consulting and BI development to remote and local organizations.

I have a very good understanding of data flow , data governance and data visualizations using a wide variety of platforms and am able to hit the ground running and help with your data projects.

Work Terms

I have a flexible schedule and I am available during EST business hours regardless of my location. I prefer maintaining constant communication and detailed communications to avoid unnecessary work and redundancy
