I thrive on helping people refine their words in order to truly communicate with others.

As a child, I loved books. So I decided that I wanted to write them. I sought out other writers, and through online communities I learned vast amounts about writing, networking, marketing, and publishing. I also learned two more things: writers need editors and I loved editing.
While I continue to pursue writing (both professionally for others and personally for myself), my focus has shifted to editing, and proofreading, because I love the mixture of concrete goals, creativity, and the knowledge that I am helping someone.
I've been a professional editor part-time for the past four years, and am looking to bring it to full time.

Work Terms

Though I do have other work, it is currently minimal. I am happy to communicate through Guru's messenger, email, and text. Because I have another job and I prefer not answer my phone when in the middle of a project, phone calls are not my preferred method of communication, but I am more than happy to have a chat or two over the phone in order to get to know you and your project.
