Work Terms

1. Scope of work
I offer editing and proofreading services for various types of content, including academic papers, website content, manuscripts, and business documents. The scope of work will be discussed and agreed upon before the project begins.
2. Communication
Communication can be via email or video call, depending on the client’s preference. Timely responses to queries and feedback are essential for efficient collaboration.
3. Timeline
Timelines for each project will be discussed and agreed upon before the start of the project. Rush services are available for an additional fee.
4. Deliverables
Edited documents will be returned with track changes for easy review.
Final proofread documents will be provided in the agreed-upon format.
5. Revisions
I offer a certain number rounds of revisions per project. Additional revisions may be subject to an additional fee. It’s important to provide clear and consolidated feedback for efficient revisions.
6. Payment Terms
Payment terms will be outlined in the project proposal and contract. A deposit may be required before the start of the project, with the remaining balance upon completion.
7. Confidentiality
I understand the sensitive nature of clients’ work and agree to keep all documents and information confidential.
8. Ownership
Clients retain full ownership of their documents. I do not claim any rights to the edited work.
9. Cancellation and Refunds
If a project is cancelled by the client before completion, any deposit paid is non-refundable. If a project is canceled by me, a prorated refund will be provided based on the work completed.
