Hardware Design Engineer with over 20 years hardware design in both analog and digital electronic systems. Primary background in motherboard designs for embedded hardware for consumer devices, industrial devices, and defense electronic sub systems. Familiar with all aspects of hardware development from grease board idea to production ready product including product specifications, prototype development, engineering test, analysis, and production design support. I typically work with both Mechanical Engineers for the enclosure design and/or mechanical subsystems as well as with software engineering to implement the software that will eventually run on the hardware I design. Extensive background in designing electronics for rugged environments in extreme temperature, shock, and vibration environments.
Work Terms
I prefer fixed price work, but i'm happy with hourly work from time to time as well.
