Vann Baker, owner of Elegant Book Design, began his career in graphic design for print over 30 years ago. What began as a part-time job while working on an art degree turned into a six year apprenticeship in printing.
At Diversified Printing in Columbus, Georgia, Vann worked in all departments and learned all about offset lithography and the entire process from working with customers to design, typesetting, camerawork, platemaking, presswork, folding and finishing work, and more.
Elegant Book Design was created to help authors create professional, dynamic book covers. Elegant Book Design also offers proofreading, editing as well as marketing services so self-published authors can grow their readership.

Work Terms
Elegant Book Design is open from 9 am to 5:30 pm (Eastern Standard Time), Monday through Friday. Payment terms are 1/2 of project total to begin work and balance upon completion of final artwork. Payment may be made via PayPal and credit card. Elegant Book Design offers a free, one hour consultation.
