Illustration is the act of translating our realities into a 2D workspace and output. Elena Himbeer has the expertise to translate your story, your masterpiece into a professional and playful artwork. Work Terms
Project Scope: Defined in a project brief prior to starting. Includes deliverables and up to two revisions. Additional revisions are billed separately.
Timeline: Key milestones and deadlines provided. Delays in feedback may adjust the timeline.
Rates: Specified in the project agreement.
Deposit: A non-refundable 50% deposit is required to begin work.
Final Payment: Due upon final delivery, within 7 days of invoice.
Late Payments: Subject to a late fee of 30% per week.
Copyright: Retained by the illustrator/designer unless otherwise agreed.
Usage Rights: Granted upon full payment, limited to agreed terms (e.g., print, digital). Additional usage requires extra licensing fees.
Portfolio Use: I reserve the right to showcase the work in my portfolio unless under NDA.
Client Cancellation: Payment is due for work completed up to the point of cancellation.
Designer Cancellation: I may terminate the agreement for non-compliance (e.g., non-payment), with billing for completed work.

Meetings: Pre-scheduled and may be billed.
Non-Disclosure: Client’s confidential information will be protected and used solely for the project. An NDA can be signed if required.
Revisions: The client has 4 days to request revisions after receiving drafts. Post-approval changes incur additional fees.
Final Approval: Once approved, no further changes are allowed without additional charges.
Limitation: I am not liable for indirect or consequential damages. The client is responsible for the accuracy of provided content.
Jurisdiction: These terms are governed by the laws of Switzerland Canton Thurgau. Disputes will be resolved in Bezirksgericht Frauenfeld.
