I'm an American living in Rome, where I teach English composition, business communications, and English as a foreign language at John Cabot University. I also work at the Writing Center and with the English for Success Program, where I edit and critique essays. I have experience researching content and writing blogposts for several companies, and I also have a travel blog, ElisaWrites. In the past I've worked at several literary magazines, including The New Yorker, and have also written book reviews for companies such as Kirkus Reviews and IndieReader. I have also worked with a professor from Oberlin College to edit and assemble an academic anthology manuscript.
In Rome, I'm also working on a novel and singing at a lot of open mics. And I travel as much as I can!
I hold an MFA in creative writing from Columbia University, as well as a BA in philosophy and comparative literature from Oberlin College.
