Game making made g...easier. Tag lines are hard.
I move to Seattle after failing to get into med school, and started a career as a game programmer. I was working at a large independent studio until we had money troubles, and I was laid off, and I plan to do a little freelancing until I can find another gig. Independent studios ate my favorite, but they're also volatile.
But how can I help you? You ask yourself out loud, in uncanny accordance with my narration. I'm glad you brought that up. I code games and I code fast. If you're working on your first game and something just won't work, I can make it work. Whether that's integrating a community module into your code, optimizing your code, or providing a code review of the new engine you wrote yourself, I've got a solution to your problems.
Work Terms
My hours of operation are from 4:00 pm to 10pm, Pacific US time. You can email me whenever, but I can only guarantee a timely response during those hours. I check my email every 3 hours and respond ASAP.
If you only need 1 hour of my time, but it actually takes me 15 minutes to do the work, then good on me, honestly, but your service does not end until I've completed 60 minutes of work for you, so you can ask me questions or assign me more tasks with the remaining time.
Payments for more than 2 hours can be rendered half before, half later. In these cases, if I know I'm gonna finish early, we can adjust the second payment to correspond to the new estimate of services rendered (ie: just don't pay me for work i won't need to do)
Payments of 1 or 2 hours' work are due before the work begins, and are not refundable in the event I finish early. Instead, you've got me on-call for questions and additional work, until I've rendered you the full amount of service.
Payments can be made using my Square storefront
