For the love of story writing

Im a South African author. I started writing as a hobby and enjoyed it so that i decided to make it my living.
I mostly enjoy writing short stories. My favourite is romance, romantic comedy. I also write mystery and fantasy.
Depending on my mood i write poems aswell. A little poem for you to enjoy.
A piece of me died tonight.
It was an important piece.
A piece that can not be replaced.
A piece that brought me hope
A piece that I loved so much
A piece I needed so
A piece of me died tonight.
In silence in my bedroom with tears on my pillow I lay this piece to rest.
With an heavy heart and sadness beyond the understanding of words I say goodbye to the most important piece of my heart.
