I would like to introduce myself as a person who has integrity, is hardworking, loyal, trustworthy and patient. I am also organised, efficient and methodical.
Most recently I worked for Monash South Africa as a Programme Administrator for a period of 7,5 years, but was retrenched on the 9th May 2017. At this place of work I was responsible for a variety of administrative tasks including ; minute taking, reception duties, organizing and maintaining diary system for the entire department. I was responsible for all student administration including capturing and record keeping on student databases (PASS,Callista and Allocate +). Administrative co-ordination of the annual Student Awards Ceremony. I was also a representative on the Occupational Health and Safety Committee for the Programme.
I am a creative person who enjoys hobbies like weaving, pottery and making of costume jewelry. I have two children Sean and Melissa. Reading is my passion and I specifically enjoy non fiction books. I have a Greek heritage and my name means Hope in Greek. My home shows my interior decorating flair and creativity. I enjoy visiting friends and spending time with them at coffee shops. You will often find me at craft market looking for bargains and homemade products. At one stage I worked in the UK for 18 months as a carer for Christies Care. During this time I had the opportunity to travel and visit Cyprus, Paris, Greece and London.
Work Terms
I prefer to keep office hours Monday to Friday 9:00 to 17:00. Work instructions and deadlines should be clear in order for me to meet expectations.
