I'm grateful to have had a wide range of professional and educational experiences. After spending my childhood living in Alaska and Florida, I lived in Manhattan for four years studying Media, Culture, and Art. My senior project was a sci-fi/fantasy screenplay that received high praise from my mentor – a respected writer. I then moved to the Miami area to work for an international non-profit for two years. My job responsibilities included reporting, writing, and editing stories from the field and sharing them through newsletters, blog posts, video scripts, and brochures that generated donations for the organization. I ghost-wrote blog posts for the organization's president and created/wrote/edited promotional materials. Then I spent two years working as a writer and editor for a marketing agency. Currently, I enjoy freelance work for clients ranging from law firms to lifestyle magazines. In my free time I write fiction and non-fiction. I'm currently writing a dystopian fiction series. I enter writing contests and submit guest articles to my favorite magazines whenever I can.

I hold a B.A. in Media, Culture, and Art from the King's College in New York City.
