I am a native Italian writer and translator with a background in Foreign Languages/Linguistics and International Studies. As a language enthusiast, I have always been fascinated by communication and its endless creative possibilities, working on a variety of translation projects for companies such as a Pantene and Versace (Italian into English and vice versa). Born and raised in Italy, my speciality is to translate from Italian into English and from English, Spanish and French into Italian.
When translating, I always consider these three elements:
1. Document's communication style.
2. Proper cultural adjustments that need to be done.
3. Formatting (high-quality content will cease to reach readers if poor formatting gets in the way).
The final product will be consistent with the original source yet specifically conceived for the target audience, according to client's needs and priorities. As for proofreading, I always check for consistency, proper word usage, presentation, sentence structure, and evaluation of text flow.
Work Terms
I use SafePay and/or Escrow mode of payments - administered by Guru.com. Timing is determined at the beginning of the project. I make every effort to complete the project by the due date and keep the employer informed of the progress on a weekly basis. I am available by phone, skype or email.
