Software developer with a passion for building applications or extensions in C# and Go. Love for designing RESTful APIs.
I started off messing around with programming in the C programming language. As it is a difficult language to use, I didn't learn about the big picture of application development from that. However, because of that experience, I have attained a deep understanding of how other languages operate. C taught me about pointers, how functions work, what methods and arrays are behind the scenes and how they operate. This knowledge translated very well when I started learning C# in college. This is where I really gained my development passion, as C# is a really easy language to actually create applications fast, compared to C. But the knowledge of C has made me become much more proficient in other languages, letting me understand and use functions of C# that would seem like they shouldn't work if all you know is C#.
That also relayed into my love for Go. As I see it, Go is a modern successor to C, with the added benefit of the incredible concurrency support. I love writing Go whenever I can and have made really nice back-end applications that handle a lot of web requests like it's nobody's business.
Work Terms
As a student and part-time freelancer, my working hours would generally be after normal working hours. I have already proven myself as capable of managing my time between school and work by working in the software development company Digizuite for over a year while studying. During a project, I can be reached via email, Microsoft Teams, Telegram messenger, and of course, email.
