Business director / musician / lyricist / administrator

I am a highly organized, friendly professional with 7 years experience as a business director for an acclaimed music publishing company and 3 years experience as the owner of The Coteries LLC; a nationally touring Americana band.

My experiences have focused on developing social media contact, writing and marketing content including band descriptions, press kits, social media posts, biographies, newsletters, and blog entries. My past experience focused on researching and developing strategies for copyright infringements. I licensed and monitored the use of music ensuring composers received proper payment. As a team player, I also assisted in the content development and marketing for the e-commerce website jazzleadsheets.com. This included research of potential consumers, writing press releases, and social media development. My abilities as a multitasker led me to experience booking and managing famed jazz performers. In 2016 I was the lead booking representative for a national tour across 46 states for over 300 shows and 180 festivals. I have researched a database of over 40,000 contacts.
